Abdelkader Benali

Abdelkader Benali was born in Morocco in 1975 and has lived in the Netherlands since 1979. He published this book, which won Netherlands' prize for Best First Novel and was shortlisted for its Pulitzer, the Libris prize, when he was 21 years old. He is now studying history at Leiden University.
